Zero Friction Tour 3-prong golf tees are game-changing in terms of how they differ from conventional tees. But they are nothing drastic like the brush tees which Richard and I had a hard time accepting.

The three extensions act as the gripping points for the golf ball instead of having the entire tee-top contact the ball. The low surface area of the tee in contact with the ball reduces the friction at the moment of impact. This allows the ball to fly straighter and farther.

The manufacturer claims that you will be able to hit 5 yards more and 7 yards straighter with these golf tees if you aim one prong at the target. When we used the tee, we hit 2-3 yards further in most shots and 1 yard closer to the ideal target line on an average.

These are durable. It’s slightly more difficult to tee them than the others on this list. These are tournament-legal.
